Loriann Lewis, 69

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Loriann Lewis passed away at home in North Adams on March 16, 2026, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Joyce and Ralph Lewis and the granddaughter of "Gramps", Charles Bruno.

Lori attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School and McCann Technical with a degree in Cosmetology. She worked in that field for a number of years.

She is survived by her Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Richard Davis. Lori also leaves a number of cousins. The family is very grateful to Laney Cann, who was Lori's best friend from high school and lasted until the very end of Lori's life. This friendship gave great comfort to Lori.

Lori loved animals. "Gramps" gifted her a horse, Big Red, and she and her friends had a lot of fun riding him. Jinx was her German Shepard while Minnie and Muchie were her twin cats. Lori loved the "open road" riding her motorcycle and driving her Big Truck all over the Berkshires and beyond.

Lori was a force to be reckoned with and will be deeply missed and will be forever remembered. Funeral services for Lori will be private. A donation in her memory can be made directly to the local animal shelter: No Paws Left Behind, 69 Hodges Crossroad, North Adams, MA 01247

Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

Lori Love her friends and was forever Thankful for the help she was given through her struggles. Michael Cardinal and her neighbor Don Blay were immensely helpful and caring to her. Over the years hundreds of us were touched by Loris kindness, humor, and compassion. Every one of the friends in her life were a big deal to her. We shared a strong force of friendship having both come from many of the same circumstances throughout our lives. She was a lady and truly never was not seen as one. Never a hair out of place or an outfit that didn't compliment her personality. Lori fought til the end and although things did not go as planned she did not leave without a plan , unfortunately time was not on her side. I think she would Love to be remembered as what she was always full of life and ready for a good time. To the whole crew that she has touched share a smile and a toast and always remember the friend til the end. We will all someday spend eternity together in a place full of just Love and Peace!

So sorry to hear about Lori. We worked together at Sprague, and I agree—she was a force to be reckoned, full of life and fun. My heartfelt condolences to her family and close friends.
