Scott Thomas Zarvis, 57

ADAMS, Mass.—Scott Thomas Zarvis, 57, passed away peacefully after a short illness at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by family and love.

Scott was the beloved son of the late John Temple Zarvis Sr. and Lois Jean Zarvis (née Dunsmore).

He is survived by his loving daughter, Anali Chittenden; his sister, Laurie Chittenden (Mark); and his brothers, John Temple Zarvis Jr. (Deborah) and Paul Zarvis (Tanya). Scott leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Scott was predeceased by his brother Stephen Zarvis.

Born and raised in Adams, Massachusetts, Scott was known for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and deep passion for music. In his youth, he was an outstanding hockey player and proudly played goalie, bringing determination and dedication to the game he loved.

Music was one of Scott's greatest gifts. He graduated from Hoosac Valley High School and later followed his dream to California, where he attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, graduating with the Class of 1991 and majoring in Drums and Percussion. Scott was an amazing drummer whose talent, rhythm, and love for music left a lasting impression on everyone who heard him play.

Scott will be remembered for his kindness, his creativity, his sense of humor, and the genuine way he connected with people. He touched many lives through both music and friendship, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
