Kenneth Allan Lamb

Kenneth Allan Lamb, 47, of 19 Holbrook St. died early yesterday morning at North Adams Regional Hospital, where he was admitted Thursday after a short illness. Born in North Adams on Feb. 27, 1958, son of Victor F. and Doris Whitehead Lamb, he was a 1976 graduate of Drury High School. Mr. Lamb joined his father in the operation of the family business, Lamb Printing Co., which he owned and operated at the time of his death. He coached his sons in Little League and in the Youth Basketball League. He was a fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He and his wife, the former Roberta R. Berasi, would have celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary Aug. 3. They were married in St. John's Church. Besides his wife and parents, of Williamstown, he leaves three sons, Matthew A. Lamb and Kenneth A. Lamb Jr., both students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and Kevin A. Lamb, a student at the University of Connecticut in Storrs; four brothers, William D. Lamb of Boxford, Robert E. Lamb of Black Mountain, N.C., Victor F. Lamb Jr. of Williamstown and Steven G. Lamb of East Bridgewater; two sisters, Jean Valenti of Windham, N.H., and Wendy Fausett of Astoria, Ore. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Kenneth A. Lamb, who died Friday, May 6, 2005, will be conducted Monday, May 9, 2005, at 11 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, by the Rev. William Wilson, pastor of Stamford Community Church. Burial will follow in the family lot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, May 8, from 4 to 7. Donations to an Education Fund for his three sons or to the Pat Berasi Memorial Scholarship, both in care of the funeral home. Survivors also include his father-in-law, Angelo Berasi; brother-in-law, David Berasi, and sisters-in-law, Francesca Berasi Boisjolie and Elizabeth Boland. A sister, Kristen Lamb, died in April 1957. He was a devoted husband and father, and enjoyed spending time and playing cards with his three sons.
