Drury Boys Beat Taconic for Seventh Straight Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Reece Racette scored a pair of goals on Wednesday to lead the Drury boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Taconic on John J. DelNegro Field.
 
The Blue Devils (11-0-1) broke a scoreless tie late in the first half when Conor Clark set up Jon Boland to make it 1-0.
 
Racette scored two goals nine minutes apart to build a three-goal lead. First, he converted a Jonah Miles assist; then in the 61st minute he was assisted by Cove Massey.
 
Taconic got on the board in the final minute when Nick Donahue scored unassisted to spoil a shutout bid by Drury’s Brian Christian (six saves).
 
Cody Latimer stopped 10 shots for Taconic (2-7-1), which goes to Wahconah on Tuesday.
 
Drury goes to Pittsfield on Friday to play St. Joseph.
