Nick Ryan busted on the scene last week, scoring a goal in each of the Hurricanes' three games to help Hoosac turn a two-game losing streak into a three-game unbeaten streak. The senior forward first netted the game-winner with three minutes left in the 'Canes 3-1 win over Mount Everett last Friday. Ryan headed in a pass from junior Sean Ryan-Kut to break a 1-1 tie and send the 'Canes (4-2-1) to their third win of the year.

Ryan then had a goal and an assist in Hoosac's next match, a 3-0 victory at St. Joe's on Monday. He first set up junior Shaun Knapp for a goal in the 10th minute before cashing in on a tally of his own 21 minutes later. Ryan then closed out the week by helping his team earn a valuable point against Wahconah on Friday, scoring the Hurricanes' lone goal midway through the first half of a 1-1 tie with the Warriors.

On the season, Ryan is third on the team with three goals and first on his squad with four assists.

"Nick's goals were huge last week," Hoosac head coach Camilo Bermudez said. "He helped get us a point against Wahconah and four points in the South [Division]. Nick is a forward that flies under the radar, but he's a clutch player, he's fast and is strong on the ball. He tends to read the game well and knows how to be at the right place at the right time. He is also strong in the air, and two of the goals he scored last week were off of his head."
