Mount Greylock Girls Shut Out Hoosac Valley

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Nora Lopez had a hat trick Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to an 8-0 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

GG Nicastro scored a goal and set up two more, and Adele Low, Grace Namkoong, Ruby Morin and Maddie Drake each scored for the Mounties.

 

Addie Cooper and Naomi Evans combined to stop five shots for the shutout win.

 

Hoosac Valley’s Hannah Lord and Maya Cassandra Berthelly-Jiminez split time in goal, combining for eight saves.

 

The Hurricanes (0-5-2) hosts Smith Academy on Thursday.

 

Mount Greylock (6-0-1) is at Wahconah on Saturday.
