WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Meghan Lagerwall and Tyanna Lepicier each pulled up eight digs Thursday for the Mount Greylock volleyball team in a three-set loss to unbeaten Longmeadow.

Olivia Perez finished with four kills and four digs in a 25-9, 25-20, 25-20 loss.

After the Lancers posted a big win in the first set, Mount Greylock went blow-for-blow in the second and third sets against a team that has not dropped a set all season.

“Tonight we had several of the best rallies of the season by far with each team picking up strong attacks and converting to offense,” Mount Greylock coach Greg Geyer said. “On the scoreboard this was a loss but I am really happy with the way we competed and stayed in the game against some of the strongest players in Massachusetts Division 2.”

Mount Greylock (4-4) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
