Lenox Volleyball Falls in Five Sets on Road

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Pioneer Valley Christian volleyball team Tuesday came back from a 2-1 deficit to earn a 3-2 win over Lenox.
 
Kelsey Kirchner and Charlie Keator each had five kills for the Millionaires in the 25-23, 17-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-7 loss.
 
“"We've been trying to capitalize on Kirchner's and Keator's net presence," Lenox coach Steve Laurin said of the pair, who combined for 28 attacks.
 
"Kelsey was our star server of the game. Out of 19 attempts, she tallied six aces with only two errors."
 
Emily Barenski had three aces to go with four kills and four digs. Hailey Arnold led the team in digs with five, and Etta Schnackenberg passed out 11 assists.
 
Lenox (0-2) hosts East Longmeadow on Thursday.
