LENOX, Mass. – Hailey Armold delivered seven kills Wednesday as the Lenox volleyball team beat Belchertown in four sets to secure a berth in the Division 5 State Tournament.

Armold pulled up nine digs and served four aces in the 25-23, 25-14, 15-25, 25-17 win.

Kelsey Kirchner had seven kills and two blocks. Anna Nealon finished with 10 digs and five aces. And Charlie Keator had five kills in the win.

Lenox improved to 10-7 with three games left between its regular season finale on Friday at Monument Mountain and the first two games of next week’s Western Mass tournament.

A .500 record guarantees a spot in the state tourney, but the Millionaires, currently ranked 10th in D5 in the latest MIAA in-season power rankings, figure to also contend for a home game or two in that 32-team field.
