White Leads Wahconah Bowlers to Victory

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- The rich got richer in the Berkshire County League on Friday as all four teams who won in Week 1 followed up with wins to remain tied for first in the eight-team high school league.
 
Wahconah’s Alex White rolled the week’s best game, a 259, and best series, a 473 to lead his team to victory over Drury.
 
McCann Tech, Pittsfield and Lee each also scored a team victory.
 
Pittsfield’s Colby Rooney had the week’s second-best game with a 246. Lee’s Adam Dingman was just three pins behind White for high series with a 470.
 
Among the girls, Wahconah’s Amber Wood had the top game (213), and McCann Tech’s Aleasia Yeaton recorded the top series, a 365.
 
The league moves north next Friday to compete at Ken’s Bowl.
