LOWELL, Mass. -- Mount Greylock's Travis Hilchey is the sole Berkshire County wrestler still alive at the two-day all-state meet that concludes Saturday at the Tsongas Center.

Hilchey won three straight matches in the 132-pound consolation bracket to advance consolation semi-final.

After dropping a 4-0 decision to Lincoln-Sudbury's Russell Feye in the championship bracket, Hilchey earned one pin and two decisions to stay in contention for third place in commonwealth.

He defeated Haverhill's Reece Millington, 6-2, in his first wrestle-back match. He then pinned Foxbourgh's Austin Guttierrez for the second straight week, this time at 4 minutes, 44 seconds. And Hilchey finished his day with a 6-0 win over Winchester's Garrett Ludwig.

On Saturday, Hilchey faces Hampshire's Brendan Weir in the consolation semis.

Hilchey was joined by two teammates from Mount Greylock's cooperative team at the all-state meet. At 145 pounds, C.J. Lillie won once in the wrestle-backs before bowing out; Johnny Colon had a bye into the second round but ended up losing two straight matches at 182.

Mount Everett's Bradley Lupiani advanced one round in the 126-pound championship bracket. He earned a 10-4 decision over
Winchester's Enderson Naar but lost a narrow, 4-3, decision to Minnechaug's Anthony Monteiro in the quarters. Lupiani then fell in his first consolation round match.

At 182, Monument's Jonah Christianson was pinned twice -- once in the championship bracket and again in the consolation quarterfinals. Taconic's Dave Jones also was pinned twice in his only two matches at 220.
