Greylock Boys, Lenox Girls Victorious in Tennis

LENOX, Mass. -- Gray Kaegi battled to a three-set win at first singles to lead the Mount Greylock boys tennis team to a 5-0 win over Lenox on Thursday.
 
The Millionaires’ girls defeated the Mounties, 5-0 in their match.
 
Kaegi defeated Henrik Palmer, 6-1, 2-6, 7-6(7-5).
 
Jacob Fink and Josh Narey earned straight-set wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles, respective. The Mounties picked up doubles points from the tandems of Matt Wiseman/Brady Foehl and Sam Dils/Toby Foehl.
 
On the girls side, the match of the day was at No. 2 doubles, where Lenox’s Rose Pehlert and Annie Fielding defeated Cedar Keyes and Mia VanDeurzen, 7-5, 5-7, 4-6.
 
Lenox’s pairing of Morgan Hayden and Hani Chung won in straight sets at first doubles. The Millionaires got singles wins Victoria Vittori, Liz Jarck and Alex Trousilek.
