NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Drury baseball team Friday rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to erase a two-run deficit and went on to a 3-2 win over Granby at Joe Wolfe Field.

Steven Cornell got the rally started with a leadoff line drive to right. He then scored on Nick Lescarbeau’s one-out triple to left.

Nick Sacco drove in Lescarbeau with an infield single. Sacco then stole second to get the go-ahead run into scoring position and went to third on a wild pitch.

With two out, Logan Crockwell singled to the left side to drive in Sacco and give the Blue Devils a 3-2 lead.

Connor Hinkell then worked around a one-out error to strand a runner and secure the win.

Hinkell pitched three innings of one-run relief behind Lescarbeau. The pair combined to strike out 13 hitters while allowing five walks and three hits.

Drury (2-0) hosts Lee on Saturday at noon.
