Lescarbeau, Blue Devils Edge Lenox

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Nick Lescarbeau struck out 10 and scattered five hits Friday to lead the Drury baseball team to a 2-0 win over Lenox at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Lescarbeau walked just one in a complete-game effort as the Blue Devils won their fourth straight to improve to 9-2 this spring.
 
The winning run came in the bottom of the second.
 
Julian Feliciano got things started with a one-out single to left. Courtesy runner Darian Vidal went to second on a fielder’s choice.
 
An outfield error on a fly ball off the bat of Noah Arnold allowed Vidal to score and put the Blue Devils up, 1-0.
 
In the fourth, Connor Hinkell singled to left to drive in J.J. Prenguber.
 
Hinkell finished the day 2-for-3 to lead Drury’s offense.
 
Max Shepardson allowed just six hits for the Millionaires, striking out five and walking two in six innings of work.
 
Cliff Flynn went 2-for-3 to lead Lenox’s offense.
 
The Millionaires (6-4) hosts McCann Tech on Monday.
 
Drury hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
