SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Brady Carpenter went 3-for-3 with a home run Monday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 3-1 win over Northampton.

Cameron Coon and Trevor Leonard combined to strike out nine and allow no earned runs on the mound for the unbeaten Eagles.

Northampton jumped on top with a run in the top of the first before Carpenter’s solo shot tied it in the bottom of the inning.

It stayed 1-1 until the bottom of the fourth.

Carpenter started the winning rally with a single to left and then stole second.

Leonard’s double to left sent Carpenter home to make it 2-1, and Leonard reached third on an error on the play.

Coon then drove in courtesy runner Thomas Kreis to make it a 3-1 game.

Mount Everett (12-0) goes to Lenox on Wednesday.
