Christopher Homers for Taconic in Home Win

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Quentin Christopher went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs Sunday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 6-4 win over Ware.

 

Evan Roccabruna and Ed Ferris each doubledfor Taconic, which built a 6-1 lead going to the sixth inning.

 

Chase Wendling and Gavin Maffuccio split time on the mound.

 

Wendling struck out seven and allowed just one unearned run over four innings to pick up the win.

 

Taconic (7-6) goes to North Adams to play Drury on Monday.
