Forfa Homers and Pitches Wahconah Past Pittsfield

DALTON, Mass. -- Ethan Forfa pitched a complete game on the mound and went 3-for-3 at the plate Tuesday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 10-4 win over Pittsfield at Pine Grove Park.
 
Forfa struck out five, walked one and scattered nine hits.
 
He also homered, doubled and drove in four runs to lead the Wahconah offense.
 
Ty Cowdrey went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Dane Campbell doubled.
 
Wahconah opened up a 10-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth with a four-run rally that featured doubles by Campbell and Cowdrey.
 
Joe Traversa went 3-for-4with an RBI, and Carter Matthews went 2-for-3 for Pittsfield (6-3), which goes to Agawam on Wednesday.
 
Wahconah (8-3) goes to Southwick on Friday.
