NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Nick Disanti and Cole Stevens each had a hat trick Tuesday to lead the Monson boys lacrosse team to a 13-2 win over short-handed McCann Tech.

“Credit to Monson for playing a very good game,” Hornets coach Justin Kratz said. “We had a depleted roster from the start, playing only 11, and we ended up calling the game at the start of the fourth because we had only nine players left.

“We’ll look to get healthy before the end of the season, but we will have to forfeit Friday’s game against Chicopee because we’ll only have eight players available.”

Jason Knapp and Colby Marko each scored a goal for the Hornets, who got 18 saves from Keegan Delaghelfa.
