McCann Tech Boys Down Smith Voc

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Nick Abuisi recorded a hat trick on Friday to lead the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team to a 9-2 win over Smith Vocational.

 

Brody Rhinemiller recorded seven saves to earn the win in goal, and Parker Hart and Evan Rose each scored a pair of goals as the Hornets improved to 2-0 this spring.

 

“After a slow start, we were able to get the ball moving to create better offensive opportunities,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Our defense and goalie bailed us out today. PHS will be a good measuring stick for us early in this season.”

 

McCann Tech goes to Berkshire Community College on Monday evening to play Pittsfield.
