Jake Touponce Scores Game-Winner for Hornets

MONSON, Mass. – Jake Touponce scored the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter to give the McCann Tech boys lacrosse team a 4-3 win over Monson on Wednesday.

 

Parker Hart had a hat trick and assisted on Touponce’ game-winner.

 

Brody Rhinmiller made seven saves to earn the win in goal.

 

“We found a way to win,” McCann Tech coach Marshall Maxwell said. “Offensively, we are figuring out our personnel and developing players. Defensively, Brody Rhinemiller and the defense carried us today. Our kids are working hard.”

 

McCann Tech (3-4) hosts St. Mary’s on Thursday.
