Late Surge Lifts Westfield Tech Softball Past Mount Everett

WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Westfield Tech softball team scored nine times in the bottom of the sixth inning to end a 24-12 win over Mount Everett on Tuesday.
 
The hosts took the lead with five runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead, 15-12.
 
Hailey Warren led Mount Everett’s offense, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Emil Roskidany went 2-for-2 with three RBIs at the plate and split time in the circle with Ashelen Cutlip.
 
Mount Everett (1-5) hosts Holyoke on Friday.
