The Wright Stuff: A Perfect Game for Hurricanes

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Gracelyn Wright earned a complete-game, five-inning no-hitter, and Rachael Wnuk and Ashlyn Lamke each homered Thursday as the Hoosac Valley softball team beat Monument Mountain, 12-0.

 

Wnuk went 2-for-3 with four runs batted in, and Lamke added a double to finish 2-for-3 at the plate.

 

Wright doubled twice, and Harper Bialas doubled in a 14-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

In the circle, Wright struck out four and walked no one in the run rule-shortened perfect game.

 

Hoosac Valley (7-0) hosts Mount Greylock on Saturday morning.

 

Monument Mountain (1-3) hosts Pittsfield on Saturday afternoon.
