Bialas Leads Hoosac Valley Softball over Lee

ADAMS, Mass. – Harper Bialas went 3-for-5 with a triple and four runs batted in Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 23-1 win over Lee.
 
With the win, the unbeaten Hurricanes qualified for the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Genevieve Lagess was 2-for-4 with a home run, and Rachael Wnuk and Ella Bissailon each had three hits in an 18-hit attack for the Hurricanes.
 
Gianna Witek earned the win in the circle, striking out six and allowing two hits in a complete-game, five inning effort.
 
For Lee, Maddie Blair singled and drove in Alison Scheurer, who had the Wildcats’ other hit.
 
Lee (2-8) is at Drury on Friday.
 
Hoosac Valley (10-0) travels to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
