Wahconah Bounces Back, Blanks Greenfield

DALTON, Mass. – Melaina Haczela went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs Wednesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 12-0 win over Greenfield.

 

Julia McComish was 3-for-3 with a double, and Sammie Kaley went 3-for-3 as Wahconah bounced back from its first loss of the season.

 

“Great response after a tough loss the other day,” Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. Today was a team win. We had several players step up for us.”

 

Marlee Arnhold went the distance in the circle, striking out six and walking none while scattering five hits.

 

Wahconah (4-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.
