Hurricanes Win Fifth Straight

LEE, Mass. – Qwanell Bradley scored 20 points Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 73-64 win over Hoosac Valley.
 
Bradley scored seven points, and Blake Mazzeo added eight in the fourth quarter, when the Hurricanes outscored the Wildcats, 28-15, to come from behind for the win.
 
Mazzeo finished with 11 points. Adan Wicks scored 19, and Terrell Johnson added 12 in the win.
 
“It was a game of runs back and forth all night,” Lee coach Dan Korte said. “Credit to Hoosac for making the plays they needed to make to secure the win. I'm happy with our effort and intensity.”
 
Joey Abderhalden scored a game-high 23 for Lee, which got 20 points from Mason Lucy.
 
The Wildcats (8-9) finish the regular season at Lenox on Friday.
 
Hoosac Valley (9-6) hosts Pittsfield on Wednesday.
