CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Izaha Stubbs scored 14 points Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 71-38 win over Mount Everett.

Carson Meczywor continued his return from the injured list with 13 points, and Cole Desroches and Travis Dozier Jr. added 12 and 13, respectively.

“Good complete team win with four guys in double figures,” Hoosac Valley coach Dave Harte said. “Izaha really shared the ball, and we had a good second half against their zone. I’m proud of the guys for sticking together and winning games we should win.

“Now it’s time to see what we are made of vs Wahconah and Drury.”

The Hurricanes (7-4) continue a busy week with a trip to Dalton on Wednesday before visiting Drury on Friday.

Mount Everett got 11 points from Justin Foster and eight apiece from Cooper Rothvoss and Kolby Bleau.

The Eagles (1-12) host Phoenix Charter on Thursday.
