Pope Francis Boys Top Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Pope Francis boys basketball team Saturday built a 45-21 half-time lead en route to an 84-61 win over Pittsfield.
 
Tobias Gaulden-Wheeler hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead the Generals, who got 16 points from Nick Brindle and 10 from Carter Mungin.
 
Pittsfield (1-6) goes to Bennington, Vt., to face Mount Anthony on Tuesday.
