Drake Sisters Lead Mount Greylock Past Spartans

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Madison Drake scored 16 points with four 3-pointers Thursday to lift the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 56-29 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Her sister Tanley Drake added 12, and senior Jamie Sweren scored eight as Mount Greylock broke a seven-game losing streak.
 
Madi Drake scored 10 in the first quarter to help the Mounties jump out to a 16-4 lead. They led, 29-4, at half-time.
 
For the Spartans, Brooke Decker ended up with a game-high 18 points, and Polly Geddes added six.
 
The Spartans (0-8) go to Drury on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock (3-8) goes to Belchertown on Friday.
