"I never intended to stay involved this long, but after you see the love and respect the staff have for the people they serve, it's impossible to leave," he said. "And while it has been hard for me to resign, it's time for me to step down, allow for new leadership, and enjoy my retirement."
Berkshire County Arc has promoted Sonja Stewart to director of Family Support and Advocacy and hired David Singer as director of Marketing and Communications, a redesigned position. Both will join the agency's administration team.
Those with autism, and for brain injured and the developmentally challenged should be treated just like everybody else and BC Arc tried to do just that.
Through numerous programs throughout the county, BC Arc doesn't just provide support and advocacy for those people, they work hard to integrate them back into the world.
