Thunder Earns Split at New Hampshire Tournament

LONDONDERRY, N.H. – The Greylock Thunder 18U travel softball team Saturday bounced back from its first loss in pool play to earn a 7-2 win and earn a 3-1 record at the New England Fusion College Showcase.
Greylock’s day started against the Connecticut Lightning, which jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first and went on to a 3-1 victory.
Marlee Arnhold (1-for-2) drove in Evelyn Julieano (1-for-2) for the Thunder’s run in the top of the fifth.
Arnhold also went the distance in the circle, striking out four and walking just one in five innings of work.
Greylock went right back to work against the Plex Gold Pelletier out of Bedford, N.H.
The Thunder used a five-run second inning to take control and went on to a 7-2 win.
