LENOX, Mass. — The Lenox Community Center will host a fabric swap on Thursday, March 23, from noon until 1:30 pm.

The fabric swap is a free event where people can bring their unwanted fabric, notions, yarn, needles, and crafts to trade with others. This is a great opportunity to declutter your sewing room and find new materials for your next project.

The fabric swap will be held at the Lenox Community Center, located at 65 Walker Street in Lenox, MA. The event is free and open to the public.

The WIT Gallery Collecting Fuel Assistance Donations

LENOX, Mass. — The WIT Gallery is collecting donations for fuel assistance for local families and individuals in need.

The community-wide initiative invites residents and visitors to contribute funds that will go directly toward heating fuel assistance and other programs for Berkshire County households facing financial hardships.  All donations collected through the gallery will be directed to The Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC) serving the region.

"For over 25 years, The WIT Gallery has been a gathering place where conversations spark limitless inspiration and creative, productive ideas. This winter we want to extend that spirit beyond our walls and help ensure that members of our community are safe and warm," said Lynda Strauch, owner.

The donation drive runs through March 2026 with contributions accepted at the gallery as well as online at BCAC's website at www.bcacinc.org. All are encouraged to stop by, enjoy the gallery's exhibitions, and participate in a collective effort supporting Berkshire County residents during the coldest months.

Checks made payable to Berkshire Community Action Council may be dropped off at The WIT Gallery, 27 Church St., Lenox where donation envelopes are available and will be mailed on your behalf. Online at BCAC's website: https://www.bcacinc.org/donations/donate/
