West Stockbridge, Becket Construction Operations on I-90 Eastbound and Westbound
WEST STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be performing drainage structure work and bridge painting along I-90 eastbound and westbound in West Stockbridge and Becket.
The work will take place nightly from Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
West Stockbridge:
- Drainage structure work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound between mile markers 1.0 and 4.0 on Monday night, June 2, and Tuesday night, June 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning. Lane closures will be in place.
- The I-90 eastbound on-ramp at exit 3 (mile marker 3.0) will be closed for drainage structure work on Wednesday night, June 4, and Thursday night, June 5, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning. A full detour will be in place directing traffic to the exit 10 on-ramp in Lee.
Becket:
- Bridge painting will be performed on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 18.4 from Monday night, June 2, through Thursday night, June 5, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning. Lane closures will be in place in both directions.
Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
