MassDOT: Overnight Construction Operations on I-90
STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight bridge repairs and bridge painting on I-90 eastbound and westbound in the towns of Stockbridge, Lee, Blandford, Montgomery, and Russell.
All work is weather dependent and will take place at the following locations and times:
Stockbridge:
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 5.9 on the night of Wednesday, July 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 5.9 on the night of Thursday, July 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Lee:
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 9.4 to mile marker 9.7 on the night of Monday, July 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 9.4 to mile marker 9.7 on the night of Tuesday, July 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
Blandford:
- Bridge painting will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 26.2 nightly beginning Monday, July 13, through the morning of Friday, July 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Montgomery/Russell:
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 36.0 nightly beginning Monday, July 13, through the morning of Friday, July 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place to guide drivers through the work areas.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
