Berkshire Force Travel Softball Team Falls at Conn. Tournament
WINDSOR, Conn. – The Connecticut Titans Sunday morning dealt the Berkshire Force 12-and-under travel softball team a 9-7 loss in an elimination game at the End of Summer Challenge at the Fast Pitch Nation complex.
The Force battled back from a 7-2 deficit with five runs in the bottom of the third inning. But the Titans responded with two in the top of the fourth inning, the last due to the tournament’s time limit.
Emma Wixsom doubled, and C.C. Clark went 2-for-2 with three RBIs to lead Berkshire’s offense.
Wixsom and Peyton Demary split time in the circle, combining to strike out five and allow four earned runs.
