DALTON, Mass. -- The Community Recreation Association has announced its CRA Hall of Fame Class of 2026, recognizing outstanding teams, coaches, contributors, and athletes whose achievements have left a lasting impact on sports throughout Central Berkshire.

 

The 2026 Hall of Fame Class includes:

 

• Teams - 1952 Dalton High School basketball team, 1998 Wahconah girls soccer team, 2014 Wahconah hockey team.

 

• Coaches - Dick Farley, Peter Stephenson, Joe O'Neil.

 

• Contributors - John Corliss, Kelly's Package Store, Jody DiMassimo.

 

•  Athletes - Janinne Noel, Matt Boudreau, Shannon Hoosick, Harry Hume, Dave Ward, Tom Reynolds, Lisa Perrott.

 

The CRA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. at The Stationery Factory in Dalton. The event will celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of this exceptional class.

 

Tickets are $40 per person and which includes food provided by Ozzie's Catering. Tickets may be purchased online at www.daltoncra.org or at the CRA front desk until Friday, Aug. 21.

 

All proceeds from the event support youth sports programs throughout Central Berkshire, helping provide opportunities for the next generation of local athletes.
