SHEFFIELD, Mass. — The Berkshire Environmental Action Team (BEAT) has announced that the 17th Annual Berkshire Biodiversity Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026.
This year's event will be held at Bartholomew’s Cobble, located at 105 Weatogue Rd.
A property managed by The Trustees, Bartholomew's Cobble boasts transitional forests, open fields, caves, freshwater marshes, and one of the highest concentrations of fern species in North America.
The two-day gathering will feature a structured, interactive program designed for the public, including scheduled guided walks, interactive activities, and presentations by scientists and ecological experts focused on local species diversity.
