MassDOT Advisory: Overnight Construction Operations on I-90
LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight bridge repairs and bridge painting on I-90 eastbound and westbound in the towns of Lee, Becket, and Blandford.
All work is weather dependent and will take place at the following locations and times:
Lee:
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 8.3 on the night of Monday, September 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
Becket:
- Bridge painting will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 20.0 nightly beginning Tuesday, September 15, through the morning of Friday, September 18, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 17.3 on the night of Tuesday, September 15, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 westbound at mile marker 17.3 on the night of Wednesday, September 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
Blandford:
- Bridge painting will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 26.2 nightly beginning Sunday, September 13, through the morning of Thursday, September 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
- Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 30.1 on the night of Thursday, September 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place to guide drivers through the work areas.
Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
