Hello. I am from the South and will be moving to Pittsfield this fall. I know the North gets a lot of snow. So what vehicles would you recommend for someone unfamiliar with the area and weather conditions? Also, I am not quite 5ft tall so I don't want to get a really big vehicle that would be hard to navigate in. Thank you for your time.

And really, a lot of people get around even without 4-wheel drive, although I'd reccommend at least a good front-wheel-drive model|

A good tour guide at Tanglewood could give you the history of the property, which in 1934 & 1935 hosted performances by the New York Philharmonic in what was called the Berkshire Symphonic Festival. Wondering why you didn't direct the person who wanted to know about the Hoosac Tunnel down to the Historic Park where their is a great display; along with the bldg.that has incredible history by our own Historic Society?
|Question||Hi..I asked a question awhile back and still have not gotten a response..I was wondering how the Coca-Cola Ledge on Curran Highway got its name and the history of it..|
|Answer||Coca Cola Ledge, once called Witt's Ledge, offers a great vantage point to view the city. For many years, it's been famous as a graffiti target for MCLA's student organizations. It's fascinating how people in school enjoy showing how studid they are, perhaps trying to justify the large sums spent to educate them. Recently, MCLA and Adelphia, which owns the property, have tried to clamp down on trespassers. If any of our readers has info on how the ledge got its current name, please let us know!|
