Pittsfield Little League, Online Registration now open

Who Can/Needs to Register:

1) Open to boys and girls residing in Pittsfield, Lanesborough and Lenox 

2) All new/incoming 8 to 12-year-old players who did not play on a Little League major division team (American or National) in 2018

3) Must turn 8 years old on or before August 31, 2019 and turn 12 years old on or before August 31, 2019

Other Information:

1) Major division tryouts will be held Saturday & Sunday March 30th and 31st  at Pittsfield High School Gym

2) All 9 to 12-year-old players must try out for the major division

3) Triple A evaluation for 8-year-old players and those players 9 to 12 not selected for the major division will be on
Saturday April 6
th @ Pittsfield High School Gym

4) Further details/notification on the major division tryouts and the Triple A evaluation will follow after registration

5) All players will be selected for either a major division or Triple A team

6) Cost $60 …payment can be made during online registration or once a player is selected for a team.  Financial assistance for the fee and/or equipment available if needed.

North Adams Soccer Club Spring Registration, Online registration now open
Dates: • 03/04 through 03/30

Registration for the North Adams Soccer Club spring travel teams (Girls and Boys grades 2-8) is open.  Girls and Boys teams compete in the Berkshire County Youth Soccer League (BCYSL.org) which has leagues at the 2/3/4 Grade, 5/6 Grade and 7/8 Grade levels. 

We also compete in tournaments around the county throughout the year.  In the spring our 5/6 Grade and 7/8 Grade teams compete for the Berkshire Cup and at the higher levels a berth in the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions at the MA Youth Soccer headquarters in Lancaster MA at the end of June.

We have openings for players at all levels.

Volunteers are needed and welcome please speak up if you can help.

The Kickers program (PreK-2nd Grade) starts later in spring and that registration will open shortly.

Scholarships available upon request.

The Pittsfield Girls Softball League, Online registration now open
Dates: • 03/04 through 03/30

The Pittsfield Girls Softball League has announced that registration for the 2019 season is open for girls ages 6 – 19.  Individuals looking to sign up may go to www.pittsfieldgirlssoftball.com. The cost is $80 to register online. The league is divided into several divisions:

Tee ball – birth years 2011 – 2013

Rookie (U10) – birth years 2008-2010

Minor (U12) – birth years 2006 – 2007

Major – birth years 2000-2005

Rookie Division evaluations for players new to the division will be from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday March 16, 2019 at Reid Middle School.  Evaluations for the Minor Division will be the same day at Reid from 12-2 pm.

Tee-ball and coaches pitch teams will be formed prior to Opening Day which is scheduled for May 4, 2019.

For the Major Division, birth years 2000 – 2005, evaluations will take place May 18, 2019 with a projected Opening Day for that division on June 17, 2019. The league will be offering weekly practice to players in eighth grade who are eligible for this division over the Spring while they await the league start date.

The Pittsfield Girls Softball league offers leagues from tee ball to high school age at the Doyle Softball Complex on Benedict Rd. in Pittsfield where there are four fields, two with lights, and a full concession stand. With nearly 300 girls participating, the league’s mission is provide a positive, fun, and competitive environment in order to assist in the development of our young athletes on a variety of levels.

Baseball and softball season in Williamstown is right around the corner!  Registration has started online at www.WilliamstownCalRipken.com.

Boys and girls are eligible to play in our baseball league.  Your child must be age 4 (before 1 Sept 2019) through age 12 (as of April 30, 2019 for baseball or December 31, 2019 for softball).    

Williamstown Cal Ripken Baseball is comprised of four levels:

- Grant League (Pre-K and Kindergarten)

- Rookie (Grades 1 and 2)

- Minors (Grades 3 and 4)

- Majors (Grades 5, 6 and 7)


Williamstown Cal Ripken Softball is comprised of two levels:

- 10U Softball:  Ages 8 - 10 (Girls in 3rd and 4th Grade)

- 12U Softball:  Ages 10 - 12 (Girls 5th and 6th Grade)
