American Society For Quality Roundtable

Pittsfield - The Berkshire Section of the American Society for Quality plans to host a Sept. 21 roundtable discussion at the Over The Rainbow restaurant, 109 First St., Pittsfield.

The discussion meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 and conclude at 8 p.m..

The discussion will surround quality and will be led by panelists Bruce Carnevale of Raytheon, who will speak about value stream mapping, Tim Coe of Berkshire Life, who will speak about customer service, Richard Hiam of Cavellero Plastics, who will speak about SPC, Tom Homewood og managementbydesign, who will speak about measures, and Marta Nichols of Berkshire Bank, who will speak about six sigma.

The discussion moderator will be Jim Huebner, the chariman of the Berkshire Section of the ASQ.

Pizza and soft drinks will be offered for free to ASQ members and will be available to non-member guests for $5. Those planning to attend the event should rsvp by Sept. 15. Participants are asked to specify how many guests will be attending and are also encouraged to prepare a list of topics and questions for the discussion.
