Legacy Banks will hold a Grand Opening Celebration at its new North Adams Office, 331 State Road, on Sat. March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..

The festivities are open to anyone who would like to attend and will include a variety of special offers, activities, giveaways, refreshments, and live radio remote. Raffle prizes will be given out throughout the day ranging from Mass MoCA tickets and a nights stay at The Porches to a Cape Cod getaway weekend.

Four individuals will have an opportunity to enter the Money Tornado and win cash. The raffles are open to anyone who would like to enter.

All those who open accounts at the North Adams office during the celebration will be given a free soft-sided cooler.

Additionally, children under 18 who open a savings account will receive a $5 deposit from Legacy and will take home a beautiful piggy bank to continue their saving. Other deposit and loan offers will be available as part of the celebration.

The new Legacy Banks North Adams office features the very latest amenities offered in banking today as well as ample parking and a unique customer-friendly lobby. The 2,800 square-foot facility was constructed by Allegrone Construction with the site design completed by SK Design Group, Inc. and building design by EDM all Berkshire County-based businesses.

Featuring a large parking lot and two-lane drive-up service, tellers utilize state-of-the-art wireless communication devises to maintain full interaction with customers throughout each transaction.

Additionally, a contemporary drive-up ATM dispenses postage stamps.

The buildings interior incorporates a customer-friendly design with a convenience center featuring a coin counting machine, shredder, photo copier, coffee bar and other amenities. The new office will also utilize bio-metric, self-service safe deposit boxes.

Anyone with questions about the new office or about the grand opening celebration may call 800-292-6634.
