She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Stephen Macchi, whom she married on January 6, 1973 at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Sheffield; three children, her son Dean Durant Macchi and wife Kimberly of Wayland, Mass., and their children Alexis, Talia and McKenzi; her son Mark Macchi of Pittsfield, Mass., and her daughter Dailyn Macchi of Florida; her sister Nancy Porter and husband Paul of Venice, Fla.; and her brother Mathias Hitchcock and sister Michele Hitchcock Brooks, both of Sheffield, Mass.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Wallace C. Hitchcock Jr. and sister Jeanne Rini.
