Colson James Flynn

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Colson James Flynn, sweet baby boy of Charles Thomas Flynn IV and Desiree Brieanna Pechtel was born sleeping on April 4th, 2024 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington Vermont.

Though he was too perfect for the world and never spent time on earth with us, he spent 9 months in the womb showing everyone his spunk. From loving his dads cooking, humming and rubs; not letting mom get a full night's sleep because of his gymnastic skills, to wanting to wait until he got into the world to show us all of his features and not wanting to get a good image on the ultrasound.

He was our little waterbug who left the pond we live in and morphed into a beautiful dragonfly to explore his new world above us. As he wanders, he places his arms around us as we weep, watching us wish the days away, begging to have him home, sending us signs to know we are not alone. He waits until his loved ones become drangonflies too to show his new beautiful world of the sun and air.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Duane and Antonella Pechtel of Delanson, NY; his paternal grandfather and grandmother, Travis and Shannon Dozier of Adams, MA and several aunts, uncles, and cousins whom loved him dearly.
