Theresa Lorraine Comeau, 96

ADAMS, Mass. —  Theresa Lorraine (Lemoine) Comeau, 96, of Adams, MA, died Thursday April 11, 2024 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Adams on December 6,1927 to the late Peter and Antoinette (Leonard) Lemoine.

Theresa attended Notre Dame School and graduated from the former Adams High School in 1946. After school, she worked at Bright Water Paper Company for 13 years until retiring to raise her family. On September 18, 1954 Theresa married Francis Comeau.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Theresa was a very active member of the Catholic community churches of Adams. She was a communicant of St. John Paul II at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church. There, she was a member of the choir and worked the annual Bazaar. Theresa was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and Sacristan.

Theresa leaves her children, daughter Christine Corbiere (Bruce) of Feeding Hills, MA, and son Michael Comeau (Denice) of Adams, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren Raymond and Bryan Corbiere and great granddaughter Mira; brother Raymond Lemoine (Jean), and nieces and nephews. Theresa is predeceased by her husband Francis Comeau and sister Stella M. Kondel.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams, MA. Calling hours will take place from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Church the same day. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Family of Theresa, Thought of her often and hoped she was well. I'm sorry to hear of her passing, hope it was peaceful. She always helped my Mom (Fran Pikul), when they lived on Myrtle St. She was so kind and helpful. I always enjoyed our visits. May she rest in peace.
