Dorothy Beaupre, 81

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dorothy Beaupre, 81, of 10 Grant St., died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Born in North Adams on Dec. 4, 1925, daughter of Giuseppe (Joseph) A. and Nicolina Filicetti Mancuso, she graduated from Drury High School in 1944. In her earlier years, Mrs. Beaupre was employed by J.J. Newberry's and Molly's Bakery. She also worked at Adams Co-Operative Bank as a teller and at C.T. Plunkett Elementary School in the cafeteria for several years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Cheshire and enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. Her husband, Eugene M. Beaupre, whom she married Sept. 11, 1948, died May. 25, 2002. She leaves a son, Eugene P. Beaupre and his wife, Cathy, of Hanover; a brother, D. Peter Mancuso of Pittsfield; four sisters, Joanne Saltamartini, Frances Schmidt and Carmela Brazeau, all of North Adams, and Rita Trifone of Southbridge; and a granddaughter, Amy Beaupre, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Albert Mancuso, and by three sisters, Mary Piccolo, Margaret Brule and Catherine Lipa. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Dorothy Beaupre, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007, will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Cheshire celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Maple Street Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Church through the funeral home.
