Mary Brosseau Lefebvre, 97
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Mary Rose Brosseau Lefebvre, 97, of 353 River St., died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 25, 1909, daughter of William and Rose Martin Duverney, she attended the former St. Joseph's School.
Mrs. Lefebvre was last employed by the former Mini Car Wash. Before that, she was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. and by Cornish Wire Co. in Williamstown. She also worked as a domestic in several area homes.
She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church and enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting.
Her first husband, Clifford R. Brosseau, whom she married in 1929, died in 1945.
Her husband, Aimee Lefebvre, whom she married Sept. 28, 1946, died March 4, 1996.
She leaves two daughters, Loretta Rarick of North Adams and Patricia Fix of Williamstown; two sisters, Florence Carsno of Baton Rouge, La., and Dorothy Trimarchi of North Adams; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Her son, Clifford Brosseau, died Aug. 4, 1996, and another daughter, Mary J. Germaine, died Oct. 18, 1990. Two brothers, Leo and Wilfred Duverney, and two sisters, Anna Braman and Valida Loszynski, are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Lefebvre will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be tonight from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Village Ambulance, North Adams Ambulance or Williamstown Commons Activities Fund, all in care of the funeral home.
