NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Max Daugherty scored in the 76th minute to break a 2-2 tie and completed a 3-2, come-from-behind win for the Drury boys soccer team against Westfield Tech in Western Massachusetts Division 4 quarter-finals on Monday afternoon.

Jacob Bryaman set up Daugherty for the game-winner as the fourth-seeded Blue Devils (12-7) advanced to Wednesday’s sectional semi-final against top-seeded Hopkins (16-2-1), a 12-0 win over Hampden Charter on Monday.

On Monday, Drury drew first blood when Jon Boland set up Cove Massey for a goal in the 27th minute, but Westfield Tech answered three minutes later to tie the game, 1-1, going into half-time.

The Tigers scored midway through the second half to take a lead, but Drury scored twice in the final seven minutes to pull it out.

First, Connor Clark converted a penalty kick in the 73rd minute to tie the game. Then Daugherty scored his eighth goal of the season to decide it.

Corbin Rumbolt made six saves for Drury, which outshot the visitors by a slim, 9-8 margin.
