Mount Greylock Boys Soccer Advances to Western Mass Semis

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Sam Dils converted a penalty kick in the eighth minute, and the Mount Greylock boys soccer team went on to a three-goal lead before earning a 3-1 win over Pope Francis on Monday in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 3 tournament.
 
Brady Foehl and Toby Foehl each scored a goal for the fourth-seeded Mounties (11-4-2).
 
Mount Greylock moves on to Wednesday evening’s sectional semifinal at Szot Park in Chicopee against No. 1 Belchertown (15-2-2) which advanced with a 5-1 win over Athol on Monday.
