SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Ian Bridges scored three goals, including the game-winner, to lead the Lenox boys soccer team to a 4-3 win over South Hadley on Thursday.

Bridges scored twice in the first half to give the Millionaires a 2-1 lead before the Tigers tied the match.

Mason Abdalla then gave Lenox a 3-2 lead with a goal assisted by Cooper Maloney, but South Hadley was able to level the score at half-time, 3-3.

“The second half was just as intense as the first, but both defenses and goalkeepers found their stride and kept it 3-3 for the majority of the second half,” Lenox assistant coach Robert Milne said. “With about 10 or 15 minutes left, Lenox found the back one last time, making it 4-3.”

That goal again came from Bridges, who was helped by Luke Gamberoni’s second assist of the game.

Vincent Dragonetti made eight saves to earn the win in goal.

Lenox (3-6) hosts Southwick on Tuesday.
