LENOX, Mass. – Finn Lenehan scored a goal and assisted on two more Tuesday to lead the Lenox boys soccer team to a 4-2 win over Mahar.

“Note: Senior Night for the Millionaires gave the boys the lift they needed to turn the tables on Mahar from their previous matchup,” Lenox coach Joe Bazzano said, referencing a 4-1 setback in Orange at the start of the month. “Lenox came out strong and didn't let up all night. Mahar couldn't get past the formidable Lenox defense. While the offense made passes to get all their goals from inside the 18.”

Lenehan set up Luke Gamberoni for Lenox’s first goal in the sixth minute, answering an early score by the Senators.

Lenehan then scored unassisted and set up Ian Bridges for a goal to send Lenox into the break ahead, 3-1.

Mahar got a goal back early in the second half, but Robbie Alderton added some insurance in the 83rd minute to round out the scoring.

Vincent Dragonetti Made 13 saves for Lenox (8-7), which hosts Putnam Vocational on Friday.
